Produced entirely from the Macabe vineyard, the 2001 Auxey-Duresses reveals a nose of kumquats and linden. Broad, expressive, medium-bodied and pure, this wine is plump, lush, intense, and impressively long. Poached pears and apple sauce form this wine’s flavor profile, with hints of lemon making an appearance in its persistent back-end.
