Burghound (92)

Firm reduction completely dominates the nose today. Otherwise, there is excellent underlying tension and delineation to the sleek and beautifully textured medium weight flavors that deliver sneaky good length on the slightly more complex and solidly powerful finale. At least some patience recommended.

Deeper purple here, rather a reductive nose but with a sensuality of fruit beneath which promises very well. Really elegant in fact yet with power and intensity. Very well balanced, on the cusp of red and black fruit with a long pure finish.
