The Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses (the domaine owns 12.5% of the vineyard) possesses an enticingly elegant bouquet of violets, roses and crisp berries and an extremely tightly wound, concentrated, dark berry-filled mouth. Chewy, deep and with plenty of ripe tannins in its backbone, this gem should be held for 6-7 years and drunk over the subsequent decade.
A crowd-pleasing, classic Chambolle that dances on your palate like a ballerina, swooning with perfumed rose petal and violet, deep red- and blackberry flavors, and a touch of earthy, horsey character on the finish. The silky texture coats the palate like cream, and the finish is seamless. Full-bodied.
