Very tight, yet layered and serious with beautiful, ripe tannins and lots of blackberries and blueberries. It’s full and very solid. Oyster shell and lavender highlight the fruit.

Vinous (93)

Saturated violet. Highly perfumed aromas of cherry cola, black currant, incense and candied rose, with vanilla and exotic spice notes in the background. Pliant, concentrated black and blue fruit and mocha flavors pick up candied licorice and violet pastille qualities with air. Shows excellent finishing clarity and persistence, with slow-building tannins adding framework and final grip.
