The 1993 Nenin displays a healthy dark ruby/purple color, a sweet nose of black raspberry and cherry fruit, medium body, and firm tannin in the finish. One sample I tasted displayed an element of musty wood, but the other examples were pure, healthy, ripe, and potentially very good.
