Revealing a medium golden yellow, the 2021 Chardonnay The Coast is layered with amaretto, croissant, peach, and wet stone notes. It is full-bodied and sweetly fruited on the palate, with good tension and fresh acidity, as well as a silky, elegant texture, good length, and a clean finish. This lovely, beautifully styled wine certainly leans towards decadence and will take some time to show its full potential.
