The 2022 growing season in Aconcagua created exactly the conditions that Eduardo Chadwick had been striving for since 1995. The warm, dry sunshine bathing the hills of Ocoa was balanced by cool air from the Pacific Ocean, which contributed to the slow ripening of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère grapes. The result was the “Seña” wine, which, while retaining the freshness that this winery takes such pride in, features a more intense flavor than the 2021 vintage. Both Robert Parker and Vinous have rated this wine as one of the most outstanding vintages of recent years.
