The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Blanchots is a new contract for Jadot. It starts off well with a very well-defined, pure and transparent bouquet: citrus peel, apricot blossom and a touch of fig. The palate is well balanced with a taut line of acidity, great tension, and a sense of reserve (but sophistication) on the finish. The oak is beautifully handled here. This is a superb debut - elegant and detailed.
