Louis Billard's 2023 Meursault is his second vintage, and this year his expertise in producing white wines has clearly reached a new level. The 2023 Burgundy white wines were shaped by a sunny and bountiful summer, which allowed for the harvest of ripe Chardonnay grapes. Choosing the right moment to harvest was crucial for preserving the wine’s freshness. Billard pressed the grapes whole-cluster and fermented them in barrels on the lees. The result is a Meursault with a rich texture that has not lost its refinement. This wine can be enjoyed until 2032.
