The grapes for the 2018 Aligoté Le Jardin de la Côte were picked on September 21 from a part of Saint-Aubin that is a late-ripening site once devoted to market gardening. The wine is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with scents of crisp green apple, pear and citrus oil. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, it's lively and precise, concluding with a chalky finish.
