This too displays admirable purity if not quite the same elegance as the Evocelles with its layered combination of underbrush, sauvage and earth nuances that add plenty of breadth to the primarily red currant, plum and violet-scented nose. While decidedly muscular there is a relatively refined mouth feel to the stony and serious medium-bodied flavors thanks yet again to the fine-grained tannins shaping the wonderfully long and complex finale. Quality juice but at least some patience required.
