A cool and restrained nose speaks of earthy and discreetly spicy red and dark berry fruit. There is excellent density to the extract-rich mid-palate that confers a wonderfully seductive texture to the middle weight plus flavors that exude a subtle minerality onto the sappy and impressively persistent finish. This is a classy effort that should reward up to a decade plus of cellar time.
