Performing better than it did last year, elegant, sweet cherry, cassis, plum, fig, and underbrush notes are present in this dark ruby/purple-colored effort. With impressive extract, moderately high tannin, and a long finish, this sometimes indifferent estate has acquitted itself well in 2005.

Incredible fruit on the nose. Pure and exciting, with intense raspberry and currant character. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a silky texture. Pretty fruit.
