Château Laroque is a Grand Cru Classé estate in the Saint‑Émilion appellation of Bordeaux, Château Laroque is located on a limestone plateau and is planted predominantly with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The château dates back to the 12th century (with the present chateau built in the 17th) and its 61 hectares of vines make it one of the larger estates in Saint-Émilion. Recent vintages (e.g., 2019, 2020) H71 have received high critical acclaim (95-96 pts) for their elegance, dark-plum fruit, spice and limestone-derived freshness.
