A dark plum/ruby color is accompanied by a big, sweet black raspberry, cherry, lead pencil shavings, crushed rock, and spring flower-scented bouquet. Supple tannin, low acidity, and excellent ripeness characterize this hedonistic, well-made St.-Emilion.
Lots of vanilla, coffee and berry character on the nose follows through to a full-bodied palate, with good fruit, chewy tannins and a medium finish. Needs a bit more on the midpalate to be outstanding, but enjoyable to taste.
