Ceretto

Established by Riccardo Ceretto in the 1930s, the Ceretto winery has grown to become a family domain with the third generation joining in 1999. In the early 2000s, Alessandro Ceretto, part of the third generation of the family, noticed the difficulty in bringing out the unique terroir of Langhe in the wines. To limit human impact and understand the characteristics of the terroir, Alessandro Ceretto began working with methods that not only allows the must to be naturally protected from carbon dioxide but also ensures that fermentation time and maceration on the skins are exactly the same.

The Estate consists of the main office Monsordo Bernardina and the three wineries Bricco Rocche, Bricco Asili and I Vignaioli di Santo Stefano. A total of 160 hectares is planted with vines,

The family's dedication to sustainability is reflected in the fact that all wines obtained organic certification in the EU in 2015, and many of its vineyards are farmed biodynamically.

Ceretto wines are rated high by the leading wine journalists.
