This too is super-fresh with its notably floral-inflected nose of earth, dark currant and a hint of humus. The highly energetic and decidedly more powerful flavors manage to remain on the refined side for a Nuits villages while exhibiting plenty of persistence on the mildly rustic finish where a hint of bitter cherry emerges. This quality effort should benefit from up to a decade of cellaring.
