Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak, the deep ruby-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is scented of roasted coffee beans, pencil shavings, tar and leather with a core of wild blackberries, mint leaves, bitter chocolate and baked blackcurrants plus meaty and dried thyme wafts in the background. Medium to full-bodied, silky, pure and defined in the mouth, it has a firm, pixelated frame and seamless freshness, finishing very long, nuanced, lifted and fresh. What a gorgeous expression!
