Enticing aromas of red berry, rose petal, leather and forest floor lead the nose. The elegant, savory palate delivers raspberry jam, juicy red cherry, star anise and tobacco alongside bright acidity and polished tannins. Drink 2021–2029.

A lifted Barolo with lots of dried rhubarb, raspberry coulis, pomegranate drops and rose-petal essence. Very unusual but very beguiling. That lifted, fruit-tea sensation permeates the palate, which is medium to full in body and elegantly framed around fine but structured tannins. A unique, thought-provoking wine. Drink from 2023.
