Made from a blend of top vineyard sites in Verduno, this balanced Barolo has a wonderful fragrance of woodland berries, new leather, intense balsamic notes and menthol. The smooth palate weaves together juicy red cherry, herbs, sweet spices and mineral notes alongside velvety, enveloping tannins and brisk acidity. Drink 2020–2040
Healthy mid ruby with orange tinges. Ever so slightly dusty and sweet on the nose and quite closed. Earthy, stony notes with a hint of spice (cumin seeds) and leather.
Aeration brings wonderful supple cherry fruit underpinned by dry, fine tannins. Finely tuned and balanced. Refreshing.
