The NV Extra Brut La Grace d'Alphael is a broad, ample wine built on textural richness and volume. The chunkier side of Côtes des Blancs Chardonnay comes through loud and clear in this potent, decidedly brooding Champagne.

There are more forward aromas with the NV Champagne Le Grace d'Hakamiah Extra Brut, with honeycomb, lemon custard brûlée, and fresh pastry. The palate has a more refined texture that I find quite enjoyable, although it may lack a bit of concentration on the mid-palate, with pithy citrus and a stony texture. I think this will mature nicely over the next 15 years.
