Disgorged in January 2018, Glavier's NV Blanc de Blancs La Grace d'Hakamiah is showing well, bursting with aromas of buttered citrus fruit, fresh pastry, yellow apples, honeycomb and warm biscuits. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, it's built around a generous core of fruit and a bright spine of acidity. It's already drinking well.
There are more forward aromas with the NV Champagne Le Grace d'Hakamiah Extra Brut, with honeycomb, lemon custard brûlée, and fresh pastry. The palate has a more refined texture that I find quite enjoyable, although it may lack a bit of concentration on the mid-palate, with pithy citrus and a stony texture. I think this will mature nicely over the next 15 years.
