Rousseau's top wine, as one might reasonably expect, is the Chambertin. It has a good ruby color, a full-intensity bouquet of spicy new oak, and lush berry fruit, with layers of flavor, superb definition and depth, and none of the dry, astringent tannins that plague some 1986s.
