Quite exceptional, the 1981 Lafaurie-Peyraguey exhibits ripe apricot aromas, a rich, chewy, viscous texture, good acidity, and a long, sweet, fat finish. This wine displays considerable botrytis, and is clearly one of the top efforts in this vintage.
