Burghound (91)

There is plenty of Vosne spice suffusing the ripe aromas of various red berries, poached plum and a discreet application of wood. There is more volume still to the delicious and slightly denser middle weight flavors that possess a beguiling mid-palate succulence before concluding in a lingering and balanced finale. To be clear, this isn't especially concentrated but neither is it light.

A blend from many plots north of the village, with mixed ages of planting. A lighter crimson with really attractive strawberry perfume, ease of access. Fuller fresh cherry fruit on the palate with a sensual persistent finish.
