Robert Parker (95)
The 2015 Mazy-Chambertin Grand Cru has a delightful bouquet that can only put a grin on your face. There is significantly more red fruit here compared to the Charmes-Chambertin, very pure with red cherries and crushed strawberry. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, lively on the entry with a little more structure and backbone than the Charmes-Chambertin, fanning out with conviction on the long, white pepper-tinged finish. This is a glorious Mazis-Chambertin that will offer between two and three decades of drinking pleasure.
