A very elegant Kabinett with wonderful silkiness on the tightly knit, light-bodied palate. The freshness makes this dance through the very long and refined finish, which has intense, tingling, wet-stone minerality. Drink or hold.

The 2024 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Kabinett trocken is the first time since 1991 that Steinmetz made a Kabinett trocken from this site. The nose is shy, but promises citric sunniness. The palate delivers sunny lemon indeed, on a light palate that is wonderfully slender, animated and agile. The 2024 is a stony pleasure that rings with slate. It is bright, fresh and almost thirst-quenching. (Bone-dry)
