A warmer growing season, 2016 was also the first vintage from Audeant, crafted in what was then Lingua Franca's brand-new winery. Fermented with 70% whole clusters and matured in around 25% new oak, the 2016 Pinot Noir has intense aromas of wild berry jam, tea leaves, mushroom and woodsmoke. The medium-bodied palate has a generous core of perfumed fruit despite its silky, seamless structure, and its combination of power and elegance will allow it to mature gracefully.
