This generous, meaty, black-fruited wine wraps black cherry, blackberry and black pepper flavors in moderate tannins and a seemingly full body that’s only 13% alcohol.
Blend of fruit from Nysa, Luminous Hills, Cherry Grove and Cortell-Rose vineyards. 40% whole bunch. Cask sample.
Mid crimson. Bit less skinny than the 2019. Smoother and just slightly fatter but there's still some spice. (JR)
The rich ruby-colored 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley leads with pure, ripe aromas of raspberry liqueur, pine, clean sanguine earth, and fresh rosemary. Refined and rounded, with a medium frame, it offers ripe, refined tannins, a seamless texture, and refreshing balance. It is a very impressive and finessed wine to drink over the next 10 years.
