Largillier Extra Brut NV is a white Champagne made entirely from Pinot Noir by Guillaume Selosse, and it is not produced on family-owned land. The Largillier vineyard is owned by Jérôme Coessens, and this cuvée was created through a collaboration between the two. Selosse first released this wine in 2012.

NV means that the label does not indicate a vintage year. Extra Brut means that the amount of dosage, the small amount of sugar added after disgorgement, is kept to a minimum. With Pinot Noir pressed white and very little sugar to round it off, there is nothing to hide behind.

Production is limited. With only about 300 cases produced, these bottles circulate primarily among collectors and rarely remain on the market for long.

The Selosse bottles are attracting a great deal of attention, and Largillier is a cuvée that demonstrates his ability to create his own unique style even when stepping outside the framework of Avize.
