Based on the 2020 vintage with some vins de réserve from 2021, Bonville's NV Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs displays a delicate, floral bouquet of spring blossoms, blanched almonds and lemon oil. Moderately weighted, round and elegant, it's beautifully citrusy on the mid-palate with a pure, clean and crystalline texture that segues into a long, mouthwatering finish. With a dosage of 4.2 grams per liter, this 100% Chardonnay is derived from vines planted in Avize, Oger and Cramant.
A balanced blanc de blancs that has notes of notes of, lemon, grapefruit, oyster shell and honey. Creamy, fine bubbles. 5 years on lees.
The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a blend of the 2020 and 2021 vintages from Avize and Oger. Green pear, green apple and pale lemon are immediate and primary on the nose, denoting youth and freshness. The foamy mousse underlines the freshness that can be achieved by blending these two contrasting years, uniting generosity and vivid freshness. This bright, vivid, foamy wine is an ideal aperitif that should be drunk soon. Disgorged: August, 2023. - Anne Krebiehl MW
