Champagne from the 2000 vintage had ideal ripening conditions: a warm, dry summer and perfect harvest days in September. For Dom Perignon, this led to a concentration of fruit and a natural balance that allowed Chef Richard Geoffroy to create a Champagne that was both powerful and delicate from the start. Released in 2008 after eight years of aging, this vintage reflects what happens when the harsh climate of Champagne is in perfect harmony. As a result, the style of the Dom Perignon house becomes most expressive.
