Fanti's 2008 Sant'Antimo Vin Santo (375 ml) is a thickly caramelized dessert wine with an extra viscous feel in the mouth and amazing aromatic intensity. It shows a dark golden-amber color and the wine's sugar-rich consistency moves with thick, lazy swirls around the glass. Candied fruit, toasted almond, butterscotch, maple syrup and brown sugar compete for your attention.
