Tenuta dell’Ornellaia managed to preserve the fruit’s freshness thanks to its coastal location, where sea breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea temper the summer heat. This wine, crafted from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, fully reflects the ripeness of that year’s grapes without veering into cloying jam-like sweetness. Furthermore, it possesses a robust structure. This wine is expected to age well until at least 2027, and its peak flavor profile is projected to last until 2050.
