The 1994 Vintage Port exhibits an opaque ruby/purple color, a big, rich, smoky, licorice, cassis-scented nose, well-integrated alcohol, full body, outstanding purity and length, and layers of flavor. This is a superb 1994. A sleeper of the vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2030.

A well balanced, elegant young Port with cherry and roasted fruit character. Medium-bodied and moderately sweet. Spicy finish. Showed slightly better when tasted from barrel.
