Meursault Les Tillets 2024 is a white Burgundy from Patrick Javillier, made entirely from Chardonnay, raised at the village level from a 1.7-hectare holding in the Côte de Beaune region.
In 2024, flowering began amid cold, cloudy, and rainy weather, leading to a sharp decline in yield, and the combined spring and summer rainfall was double the average. However, Chardonnay weathered these conditions better than Pinot Noir. The grapes were harvested in relatively pristine condition; yields were adequate rather than scarce, and both potential alcohol and acidity were favorable. This is fully evident in the glass. Aromas of lemon and lime are evident on the nose and palate, complemented by subtle notes of lemon curd that add richness; a firm and intense mid-palate leads to a long, refreshing finish. This is a wine that is a true pleasure to drink.
The fermentation process proceeded without any major issues, and this winery's 2024 vintage white wine was bottled between November 2025 and February 2026.
Day-to-day operations are currently managed by Marion Javillier and Pierre-Emmanuel Lamy (she oversees the red wines, while he handles the white wines and vineyard management). Chardonnay is the primary variety cultivated, with a small amount of Pinot Noir planted alongside it.
Best enjoyed between 2027 and 2038. A brief decanting will allow the aromas to unfold more fully.

Tank sample. Smoky and fun and lot and lots of pleasure. Liquorice. Good stuff! Jancis Robinson

The 2024 Meursault Les Tillets is clean and precise on the nose, citrus lemon, lime and light lemon curd scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is well balanced, very cohesive with deftly integrated oak. I admire the nascent tension of this Les Tillets, with a strictness but paradoxical intensity that keeps you engaged. I suspect that this will age with class.

Producer note: This year I again met with Patrick Javillier's daughter Marion, and his son-in-law Pierre-Emmanuel Lamy, who have now taken over the day-to-day operations. Marion is responsible for the red wines and Lamy for the whites and the vineyard work, while Patrick remains ready to assist when and where necessary. They briefly described the 2024 growing season as "rough going for the pinot in terms of yields though not too bad for the chardonnay, which is to say correct. There was quite a bit of sorting for the pinot but the chardonnay was relatively clean with good potential alcohols and acidities. We had no particular issues with the fermentations and the wines improved quite a bit during the élevage. In terms of the wines, the style is classic for both colors. We're happy with the quality as well though it would be fair to say that 2024 is good to very good in red but excellent in white." I would very much agree with this take because while the reds are indeed very good, the whites are first-rate and warmly recommended. The 2024 reds were bottled in November 2025 and the whites between November 2025 and February 2026.
Tasting note: Once again there is a coolness to the airy, even wafting, nose of wet stone, citrus and exotic tea. The sleek, intense and beautifully delineated, even chiseled, flavors brim with minerality on the lilting, focused, balanced and lightly austere finale. Villages-level Meursault doesn't get a lot better and this is pretty much textbook Tillets.

I didn’t need to be told that this was Les Tillets: as soon as I put my nose in the glass the lime blossom emerged. Excellent fruit on the attack, which powers on through the middle towards a crisp finish in support of the undoubted flesh. This is just right, and very persistent.
