The very creamy red 2015 Dominio del Pidio is produced with Tempranillo and some 5% white grapes from old vines that fermented in concrete and matured in 225- and 600-liter French oak barrels for 16 months. It has an open and expressive nose, with ripe fruit and spices and a fresher palate than what you might expect, with fine tannins and a nice texture. 15,452 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2017.
