Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers 2024 Domaine Tortochot

In 2024, Burgundy’s winemakers faced one of the most challenging harvests in recent years. They had to contend with issues such as a rainy spring, the threat of powdery mildew, and lower yields. To overcome these challenges, Domaine Tortochot carried out a meticulous selection of the grapes and painstaking work in the cellars, and also fermented whole clusters (about a quarter of the harvest), which helped bring out the wine’s freshness. The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Les Sentiers” vividly reflects these results. This is a Pinot Noir with a light structure and vibrant aromas, emphasizing not power but the silky texture characteristic of Chambolle-Musigny. Since the wine has aging potential, we recommend enjoying it between 2028 and 2038.
