In 2022, Vosne-Romanée suffered from heat and drought; however, this vintage produced ripe fruit notes without taking on the jam-like qualities typical of the hot summers of recent years. Régis Forey's "Petits Monts" vineyard is located on the upper part of the slope, on stony, well-drained soil. The elevation played a positive role here. Despite rising sugar levels, the vines retained their freshness. “The 2022 "Petits Monts" will be a Pinot Noir with rich notes of dark fruit, a robust structure, and a mineral note characteristic of this region. Enjoy this wine between 2026 and 2040.”
