A spicier if otherwise similar nose of relatively high-toned red berry fruit and soft floral wisps gives way to unusually supple if beautifully textured flavors that exude even more evident minerality on the youthfully austere and bitter pit-fruit-inflected finish that is more clearly built-to-age. As such, at least some patience should be beneficial.

Six barrels made of this rare gem. A bright crimson colour with depth. More oak on the nose. How much magic is here? A great deal I am happy to say, starting with a spectacular richness of royal strawberry fruit with superb tension, a brilliant wine for its energy and structure.
