Like the Vosne-Romanée "Petits Monts", there is a hint of mocha to the ripe plum, earth and moderate wood-suffused nose. The rich, full-bodied and powerful flavors also possess fine mid-palate density as well as good energy that carries over to the youthfully austere, firm and built-to-age finale that possess lovely balance. This is also quite good and a wine that should amply repay extended keeping.
