The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate aged 20 months in 80% new French oak. Deep ruby-purple in color, it has very pure, classic aromas of crème de cassis, blackcurrant bud, violets, licorice, bitter chocolate, espresso, pencil shavings and cast iron. The palate is medium to full-bodied, very classically styled, with a firm, finely detailed frame and excellent freshness, finishing long and nuanced. This will shine even brighter with another 3-5 years in bottle.
