The 2004 I Sodi di San Niccolo shows the finesse of this great Tuscan vintage from the very first taste. Fine, silky tannins support a core of expressive dark fruit in this racy, sleek Sodi. All of the elements are woven together beautifully in a rich, textured fabric of inimitable class. The 2004 is a great Sodi with a bright, bright future. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2034.

A solid wine, with lots of blackberry, dried flower and mineral character. Full and rich, but slightly hard. This is structured and powerful. Long and chewy. Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera.
