“Cuvée Prestige” is the flagship non-vintage wine in the Ca’ del Bosco lineup; Currently, this non-vintage (NV) wine is produced as a numbered series (Edizione), which is a blend of the base vintage and reserve wines from previous harvest years. It is composed primarily of Chardonnay, as well as Pinot Nero and a small amount of Pinot Bianco. This wine exhibits the characteristics typical of Ca’ del Bosco: low dosage, extended aging on the lees, and the grape-rinsing process introduced in 2008.

Ca' del Bosco, Cuvée Prestige 47 Edizione NV Franciacorta
75% Chardonnay, 22.5% Pinot Nero, 2.5% Pinot Bianco. Aged for 25 months on lees. 77% of the blend is 2022, with 18% from 2021 and 5% from 2020. Dosage 2.5 g/l.
Tasted blind. Deep lemon colour. Complex, sophisticated and detailed nose – not just autolysis but chalkiness, toast, spice, white chocolate, pear and apple. Long, generous, developed and very satisfying, with dosage that gives ripeness but keeps a savoury, gastronomic style. Richard Hemming MW

The NV Extra Brut Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige 46 Edizione, based on the 2021 vintage (about 75%), wafts up from the glass with a bouquet that mixes richness with an airy quality that lights up the senses. Exotic florals, tropical citrus and young peach resonate throughout. This is round and soothing with a creamy wave of soothing bubbles lifted by vibrant acidity. It tapers off sapid and long, leaving a candied lemon twang and inner floral perfumes that linger on.
