Spiced cherries, berries and stones with a hint of bay leaf and olives. Juicy and berry-oriented on the palate with a medium body and some chalky tannins. Elegant and silky finish with creamy, fine-grained tannins.

I tasted the 2020 and 2021 versions of both wines produced here, and the 2020s were darker, in color and fruit profile, denser and more concentrated than the 2021s. The 2020 Senderos de Ukan, despite being lower in alcohol (13%), feels a bit heavier than the 2020. The palate reveals more tannins—a different quality of tannins that were a little more rustic. Better with food. 21,500 bottles and 400 magnums produced.
