Location and terroir
Musigny is located in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, in the centre of Cote de Nuits. The vineyard is situated above Clos de Vougeot, wedged between Les Amoureuses Premier Cru and Echezeaux Grand Cru. The vineyards are planted on steep limestone terraces at altitudes ranging from 260 to 300 meters. The soils are rich in red clay, which adds to the wine's minerality.
