Latricieres-Chambertin is located on the top slopes of the Cote d'Or, on the southern border of the Gevrey-Chambertin commune and close to Morey-Saint-Denis. Unlike its famed neighbour Chambertin, which has a steeper incline, Latricieres is nearly level. The soils are thin and stony, ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir.
