A supremely elegant, airy and wafting nose freely displays its array of the essence of wild red currant, spice, floral and discreet underbrush hints. The ultra-fine, intense and precise middle weight flavors possess a highly attractive inner mouth perfume while displaying an almost aggressive minerality on the hugely long, youthfully austere and beautifully well-balanced finish. If you enjoy subtlety and understatement, this is breathtakingly good.
An attractive ruby with a paler rim. The bouquet has an elegant floral style on top of fresh red berry fruit, raspberry rather than strawberry. Not the weightiest but really well put together with multiple layers. Some of the red fruits become deeper without quite turning into their black counterparts, the tannins are refined yet adequate, and there is a useful point of acidity to finish. Suave, complete, harmonious and detailed.
