The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Villages was picked on October 1 and 2. The nose was showing some reduction on both barrels that I tasted. The palate is straightforward with light cherry and raspberry fruit, easygoing with a pointed finish. Fine, if nothing extraordinary.
Broad gypsy-cream biscuit nose. Very relaxed, gentle fresh fruit with no oak influence and just a nice polished finish.
