Lamm 1 Lage Gruner Veltliner Kamptal Reserve 2015 Weingut Brundlmayer
€ 44,77 (in Vat)
The intensely yellow colored 2015 Lamm 1ÖTW Grüner Veltliner is rich and intense as well as precise and herbal on the nose, provided with fine but complex aromas that are not all too fruity and instead leave the stage to the characteristic mineral and lemony/herbal flavors of the Lamm. On the palate, this is a very round, elegant, finessed and fruity Grüner Veltliner whose power and richness is greatly balanced. The finish is long and salty, full of finesse and tension and reveals fine tannins. On the first day, straight after the bottle was opened, this 2015 reminded me of "the new" Californian cool-climate Chardonnays in terms of fruit, freshness and elegance. But, after one day in the decanter, the 2015 became a real Lamm: intense and complex but highly elegant, finessed and balanced. The finish was stunningly pure, refined and mineral and revealed a lot of salt. Very delicate.

Elegant and well-rounded, with pure flavors of lentil, chive and white pepper. Firms up midpalate, followed by a long, savory, mineral-infused finish.
